Videos

Every day at Bethany Village, we celebrate wholeness of life. And nowhere is that spirit more evident than within the wonderful people on our campus. Enjoy these videos which shine a light on the people and places that make Bethany Village special.

BUILDING COMMUNITY

The Integrated Transition Options Program (ITOP) at Centerville High School provides students with disabilities the opportunity to gain hands-on real world, real job experience. It’s a special combination of career technical education and special education to support students with special needs that may need additional help to gain access to the workplace. For Katie and Adam, it was the gateway to their first job at the welcoming community of Bethany Village.

ASSISTED LIVING, RE-IMAGINED

Since its Grand Opening in 2019, Crescent Crossing has set a new benchmark for contemporary Assisted Living care. Residents enjoy spacious suites with walk-in closets, spectacular gathering spaces, a fitness center, fine dining and access to all of the 5-star amenities of Bethany Village. Take a video tour of Crescent Crossing, meet its residents and family members, and see how Bethany Village provides wholeness of life to all of our community members.

FINDING THEIR PLACE

Barbara plays bridge and never misses her movie club. At 81, she even learned how to play a dulcimer. Her sister-in-law Maureen develops programs for a fascinating living and learning program series. Both came from different parts of America to enjoy Bethany Village’s unique Life Enrichment Program.

FIGHTING BACK AGAINST PARKINSON’S DISEASE

Parkinson’s disease is undeniably frightening. The chronic, degenerative neurological disorder strikes its victims with shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with walking, balance and coordination. But, once a week, a small, determined group of local residents are learning through a revolutionary boxing regimen that they can finally gain the advantage over a foe they once thought was insurmountable. These Bethany boxers are not going down without a fight.

BETTER HEALTH, ONE STEP AT A TIME

Peggy lives in an apartment at Bethany Village and enjoys walking. In one year, she walked 260 miles, essentially the distance from Centerville to Pittsburgh. But what makes Peggy’s story most amazing is not that she logged all of those miles, but that she did it using a walker. Learn about Peggy’s journey and the hard working devoted team at the Bethany Village Fitness Center.
