Bethany Village is a large continuing care retirement community located on a 100-acre campus in Centerville, Ohio.
The senior living community is owned and operated by Graceworks Lutheran Services, a not-for-profit corporation founded as the Lutheran Inner Mission League in 1926 and overseen by a Board of Directors.
Bethany features 128 cottage homes in single and attached configurations. Contemporary Cottages offer newly re-designed, open floor plans while Grand Cottages offer larger home accommodations. There are 54 Bethany Villas on campus, providing ample square footage and two-car, attached garages.
Independent residents preferring apartment living might choose a residence in Park Ridge Place where styles feature a den, master suite, balcony or patio and a below-grade parking garage. Homestead features 65 residences with a variety of sizes and styles, including suites and one-bedroom with den floorplans. Some offer walkout patio and premium lake views. Vista Place also offers many amenities for our residents.
The Village Center is the heart of our 100-acre community with common areas for fitness, lifelong learning, dining, large and small social gatherings and an Art Center.
A continuing care retirement community is a lifestyle choice that gives you peace of mind. Moving here is a plan for the future. We have accommodations for people wherever they are in the continuum: independent living in apartments, cottages, and villas; assisted living; long-term and memory care; as well as rehabilitative services.
Anyone age 62 or older is allowed to apply.
Bethany Village has been a distinctive part of the Centerville, Ohio community for more than 70 years and has been successfully managed through several economic cycles. We are proud to be the only Bethany Village. Our team is local and our focus is on you.
As with most not-for-profit senior living communities, Bethany Village residents pay a
one-time Entrance Fee and a Monthly Service Fee.
The Entrance Fee is the initial investment that gives you entrance into the community and access to its entire scope of hospitality and on-site healthcare services, including priority access to our rehab center. The fee is amortized at 1% per month over 100 months.
The unused portion of the Entrance Fee will be returned to the resident or their estate should they not stay at Bethany Village past 100 months.
You’ll find that all home and grounds upkeep is maintained by our own dedicated and courteous Bethany Village staff. No more mowing the lawn, raking leaves, washing windows or cleaning gutters. Also included in your Monthly Service Fee are basic cable, waste removal, telephone and all utilities (with the exception of internet service). As another benefit, you won’t have to pay for homeowner’s insurance any longer, although you’re encouraged to purchase renter’s insurance for your personal belongings.
Right now! A busy and involved lifestyle is actually one of the best reasons for choosing Bethany Village right now. When you live at Bethany, you are free from time-consuming chores, home maintenance, and yard upkeep. You can pursue your hobbies and interests, or simply relax. Residents who have chosen Bethany consistently tell us that having freedom and being able to make the choice on their own were the most important factors in their decision to move here.
