Caregivers of Alzheimer patients gathered today to enjoy a moment of respite and additional support from others also experiencing the illness in their lives.
The catered luncheon featured fried chicken, loaded mashed potatoes and a fresh strawberry salad. Caregivers were treated with hand and foot massages. Several door prizes were given.
The Alzheimer Association supports those dealing with the disease and well as research to end the disease. You can donate fund through the Dayton Alzheimer Association website.
