Friendship Force Dayton in part of Friendship Force International. Friendship Force is an international non-profit organization in more than 60 countries that promotes global friendship and goodwill.
The group strives to “experience different views, discover common ground” with individuals of other cultures. On Friday, August 9, 2019 a delegation of Japanese individuals visited Bethany Village. Friendship Force Dayton is hosting the individuals and helped plan activities for their time in the area.
While in the Miami Valley, the Japanese tourists experienced many cultural landmarks including Carillon Park, the Dayton Art Institute and the Boonshoft museum. They sampled local cuisine and beers. The tourists even met with Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley.
During their stop at Bethany, the Japanese guests toured campus, interacted with residents, tried out our gym and met some of our therapy pets. They finished their tour with a lunch prepared by Executive Chef Eric Williams. Click through the gallery to see all the photos! #GoodwillAmbassadors
