Residents of Bethany Village senior living community in Centerville celebrated Flag Day and the anniversary of the U.S. Army with patriotic songs on June 14.
As guest performers Mic and Gloria led singing of “God Bless America,” Ruthmae proudly waved her flags, as she had done for each of the U.S. military services’ anthems.
“I have had at least one member of our family in every service except the Coast Guard,” she said.
