We would like to take this time to acknowledge our wonderful staff of our social workers.
Our social workers provide services across the Bethany Village continuum of care and Housing services, helping to effectively and compassionately assist our residents through the phases of aging or other difficult life challenges in a way in which their lives are considered enhanced and they are living life to the fullest.
Bethany Village social workers provide this Faithful Caring by having a special affinity for the elderly and looking at the whole person and their family from all perspectives of life including physical, social, emotional and even spiritual aspects. They help to ensure that each individual has the resources they need to succeed regardless of what area of care they are in or the services needed.
“As a group, our social workers are very compassionate and competent. It is more than just showing up for work every day, but to personally care about the people they are working for and affecting their lives,” says Michele Mowery, Bethany Village Manager for Social Services and Admissions. “They have to care (about our residents) to get it right, and they get it right.”
It is more than just caring, though. It is the competency of knowing what to do, the willingness to work together as a team and the utilization the vast experience of knowledge gained, some from the multiple years of Bethany Village and Graceworks Housing social worker experience other.
