On Wednesday, Sept. 24, Bethany Village executives hosted an advocacy session on campus with state law and policy makers.
Ohio State Sen. Peggy Lehner (R), LeadingAge Ohio CEO Kathryn Lasley Brod and lobbyist Bridget E. McAuliffe met with Graceworks President and CEO Bill Serr, Bethany Village Vice-President of Residential Care Judy Budi and Bethany Administrator John Brinkman. During the two-hour meeting, the group discussed the senior care industry including enhancements of the quality incentives within the Medicaid reimbursement system; increased funding for home and community based services; continued development and funding of housing with clinical supports and enhancements of assisted living.
